EasyAS Sliding Shutters

EasyAS Sliding Shutter

EasyAS Sliding Shutters are the perfect product to fit to any internal sliding door.

EasyAS Sliding DIY Shutters are the perfect product to compliment EasyAS Adjustable DIY Shutters for your windows.

Designed to be sleek and unobtrusive, the slimline frame and tracking system is extremely quick and easy to install. It fits directly onto the face of the architrave or square set openings and has a 4-sided frame that will protrude only 120mm from the wall and is just 17mm thick. All holes are pre-drilled.

The running gear (wheels) are housed in the bottom of the panels. These run smoothly on the bottom tracks that are rebated into the bottom board of the frame. Each wheel has up and down adjustment via a small hole on the back of the panels.

Lead time is approximately 40 working days from the time the order is placed.

Note: For the panels to slide past each other the blades must be in the closed position.

Measuring for EasyAS Sliding Shutters

The EasyAS Sliding Shutter is designed as a face fit shutter for sliding doors.

When measuring for EasyAS Sliding Shutters please make sure that there are no locks or storm bars protruding past the reveal.

Sliding Door – With Architrave

If you have architrave going around your sliding door, measure the width in 3 places (top, middle bottom) from the outside of one edge of the architrave to the outside of the outer edge of the architrave on the other side of the door/opening. Record the largest number.

Measure the height in 3 places (left side, middle, right side) from the floor to the top edge of the architrave. Record the largest number.

Sliding Door – Without Architrave

If you do not have any architrave around your sliding door, measure the reveal/opening width in 3 places (top, middle, bottom) and record the largest number and add 100mm to this number. This will be the ordered width measurement.

Measure the opening height in 3 places (left side, middle, right side) from the floor to the top edge of the reveal/opening.

Record the largest number and add 50mm to this number. This will be the ordered height.

Care must be taken when cleaning your EasyAS Sliders.

Generally, dust may be easily brushed off at regular intervals.

Tilt the blades almost all the way in one direction.

Using a feather duster, soft cloth, dust mitt, or vacuum cleaner with a soft furniture attachment, clean each blade individually. Then flip the blades in the other direction and repeat.

This can prevent dirt from accumulating and damaging the finish if done regularly.

To remove more significant dirt build-up, wipe the blades with a damp cloth and then dry the blades immediately.

Add mild liquid soap if necessary. Any cleaning product that contains abrasives or caustic components should not be used, as it can adversely affect the finish.

We recommend that you NEVER immerse your EasyAS Sliders in water.

Do not apply any furniture polish or wax, as this may also affect the painted finish.
